The American food system needs to be rethought. Beef is the largest food industry in the US. How do we short circuit, dismantle and make more sustainable and harmonious the ravenous industry of US BEEF? 

Our intervention, Cowhouse, was built upon the principles in a manifesto ending the fascination with meat. Our design goals: empathizing with cattle that have been so far removed from society's minds eye so the eater eats with a cultural and economic understanding of the systems at play. It is a machine for empathy, a machine for energy, and a machine for equality within the NY Foodshed. 

In each of us, the revolution begins.
